Crestron Home driver for Naim Streamers
6 February 2025
Good news if you have a Crestron home control system and a current Naim streamer: Naim and Focal have added Crestron Home driver support for their ranges of music-streaming systems and wireless hi-fi loudspeaker Diva Utopia.
The new driver allows control of connected Naim products from Crestron’s wide range of touchscreens, remote controls and apps, so our high-performance music players can be more easily integrated into discreet custom installations. The driver also supports volume control and source switching through the Crestron Home interface, with streaming and navigation accessible directly through the Focal & Naim app.
Crestron Home driver features list:
• Power on/off
• Source selection
• Volume control
• Mute
The Crestron Home driver works with all Naim streaming products based on the latest streaming platform: Mu-so, CI-Uniti 102, Uniti Atom, Star and Nova, ND5 XS 2, NDX 2, ND 555 and NSC 222 streamers and Focal’s Diva Utopia, a wireless and connected hi-fi loudspeaker.
The Naim Crestron Home driver is a traditional Zone Driver – enabling source switching, volume control and other functions. The driver connects the product to a Crestron Home processor over a network connection, so does not require any special cabling. Both wired and wireless connection can be used, but wired is advisable for optimum performance.
AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in and Spotify Connect features continue to operate as normal, and the Focal & Naim App and individual product remote controls can also be used.
